Virtual Coffee Date: Nov 2014
Hey there. Today I’m feeling a little coffee date… how about you?? Since it’s the first Saturday of the month I’m linking up with Jill’s Ultimate Coffee Date this time around!
If we were having coffee today…
- I’d tell you that our Halloween was pretty laid back, we dressed up to go to Chipotle and then brought our burritos home and watched Shark Tank while we ate them. My sister an I went as 80’s chicks and Henri was a soccer player.
- I’d tell you that Henri’s killing it with his running! Today marks his 7th week in a row of running! That is the longest he’s gone in a long time and the BEST news is that he’s feeling healthy!!!
- I’d say that I’m loving this chilly running weather but that I’m not sure what I’m going to do when it gets much colder. I’ve already started breaking out the gloves for my runs and it hasn’t even gotten to freezing temps yet!
- I’d tell you that my sister is the best ever for having homemade pancakes ready for me when I got home from my long run this morning – okay, she was making them for her and her boyfriend but she let me and Henri use some of the batter! 😀 that’s a good sister!!
- I’d tell you that I desperately want to sign up for a spring marathon but can’t make up my mind!!! Should I do LA (which I’ve already run) or try a completely new marathon??
- I’d tell you that the rain today is just what I needed!! There’s nothing quite like sitting near the fire with a good book on a rainy day. A movie might even have to happen later!
- I’d tell you that I’m in AWE of Alana Hadley’s time at the Indy Monumental Marathon this morning!!! She ran 2:38:34 and was the FIRST WOMAN! Maybe I’ll be that fast someday!
Okay! Henri and I are off for a real coffee date so I’m off! “See” you tomorrow with this week’s training! Have a great Saturday!
