Training Summary: 9/15/2014-9/21/2014

Hey there, I hope that you are having a great weekend so far!

Yesterday was much busier than most Saturdays around here so I’m really looking forward to a relaxing Sunday. 🙂

No workouts for me this week, just normal running because I’m working on building some mileage and getting the pace of my “easy runs” back to where it was pre-Boston Marathon. Yesterday’s long run was a big confidence booster and was one of those runs that I felt like I could run forever! Don’t you just love those runs??

Here’s a look at my past week of training!

Monday – 8 miles @ 7:39 pace + 30 mins core

Tuesday – AM: 8 miles @ 7:30 pace PM: 30 mins yoga + stretching

Wednesday – 8 miles @ 7:29 pace 

Thursday – 9.22 miles @ 7:41 pace (4 miles on trails)

Friday – 8 miles @ 7:22 pace

Saturday – 16.59 mile long run on the Boston Marathon course @ 6:59 pace

Sunday – rest day!
