Training Summary: 6/29/2015-7/5/2015
Hey There! Did everyone have a great fourth of July? We had an early morning for a race AND a late night watching the Galaxy game so this morning’s easy run got nixed in favor of sleeping in until 10 and an easy family walk with the pups!
I’ll be back tomorrow with a full rundown on our Fourth {including yesterday’s 5K race} but for today here’s a glimpse at my training this week.
Training Summary: 6/29/2015-7/5/2015
Monday: 8.4 mile @ 7:29 pace (including 6x 100m strides)
Tuesday: 6.10 HILLY miles @ 7:27 pace
Wednesday: rest day from running – 30 minutes easy swim + 15 minutes core work
Thursday: 8 miles @ 7:32 pace (including 6x 100m strides) + 30 minutes easy arm circuit @ the gym
Friday: [AM] 800m all out run for a classmates’ research project (time unknown) + 6.6 miles easy @ 7:29 pace [PM] 3.54 mile run with Henri @ 7:29 pace
Saturday: 7.12 mile race (2 mile warm-up, 3K race in 17:33, 2 mile cool-down w/ Henri) 7:08 average pace
Sunday: rest day from running – AM walk with the pups and *fingers crossed* some light yoga tonight
Total Miles: 40.26
