Training Summary: 5/5/2018-5/13/2018
Happy Sunday friends!
Before I dive into my training summary from the past week I want to wish a Happy Mother’s day to all of the moms/mama-to-be’s. As you read this I am probably en route from Portland to home and will be able to celebrate Mother’s Day with my peeps this afternoon. Henri and Liv are picking me up at the airport and we are going to a late brunch at my favorite spot in Orange County, Plum’s Cafe. Then we are planning to head down to the beach for a walk/dip in the ocean before heading home for nap time and grilling out burgers for dinner. 🙂

Training Summary: 5/5/2018-5/13/2018
Saturday – 30 minutes easy (~4 miles)
Sunday – 45 minutes easy (~6 miles)
Monday – 7.5 miles @ 7:49 pace
Tuesday – 7 miles @ 7:44 pace
Wednesday – 7.3 mile workout [2 mile warm-up, 5x 2 minutes on (@5:33, 6:04, 5:33, 5:53, 5:33, 5:43 pace, 5:45 avg)/3 minutes off, 2 mile cool-down]
Thursday – 8 miles @ 7:36 pace
Friday – [AM] 4 miles @ 8:01 pace (was planning to do all 8 in the morning but we had a dog throw-up situation to deal with so my run got cut short, luckily I was able to find time to get in the rest of my miles in the afternoon once we got to Portland [PM] 3.7 miles @ 8:25 pace (in Portland)
Saturday – 10 mile long run on the hotel treadmill @ 8:00 pace
Sunday – REST DAY
TOTAL MILES: 46
