Training Summary: 1/5/2015-1/11/2015
The weather this week has been rough! Multiple days the temperature was in the single digits and on Thursday the wind chill brought the real feel down to something like -20*! Of course this crazy weather coincided with the highest mileage week in a long time, but luckily I was able to get all of my scheduled runs in, even if both workouts were done on the treadmill and I had to wear approximately 5000 layers for my long run {not to mention my dad’s skiing mittens}!
I CANNOT believe that just one year ago Paige and I were running our long run ON THE BEACH in shorts and tank tops! What was I thinking moving us to New England?? haha
At least getting through a winter of marathon training will be great for my mental toughness! (that’s what I’m telling myself anyways 😉 )
Enough about the weather… here’s what my training looked like this week!
