Thinking Out Loud – 3/17/2016

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 

I have a busy, busy day ahead so let’s jump into some Thinking Out Loud on this Thursday. 🙂

1 – Three years ago today I ran my first marathon! It’s hard to believe that it’s been that long – I had no idea what I was doing that first time… 3:10:19 * 23rd female * 1st in my age group. I don’t wish the pain of that first marathon on anyone BUT the finish when you cross your first 26.2 mile finish line is pretty spectacular!  

2 – Today is also MOVING DAY!!! I have a track meet with my team later this afternoon so we’re just getting a head start on the main day of moving tomorrow but I am beyond excited to get into our new place! It should be pretty painless because we’re just going across the apartment complex but any move is work so it should be a pretty busy two days.

3 – My runs this week have been feeling amazing! Last week running sub-8 felt like a struggle and then this week 7:30s feel like a breeze. Just goes to show that pregnancy running sure has it’s ups and downs.

4 – Laci has really enjoyed having Henri home because he is her favorite cuddle bunny. It’s been hilarious to observe the different ways she’s snuggled up to him this week but this has got to be the funniest! 

5 – Have you guys seen the rainbow bagels that went viral a few weeks back?? The first store that sold them was in Brooklyn and my sister and I were bummed when we were in NYC to find out that they were so overwhelmed by customers that they had to close! 🙁 Well… I just found out that a bagel store in OC will be selling some rainbow bagels this weekend!! I think a little road trip may be in order. 😉

6 – I was going through all my photos on my phone the other day because I was running out of space and stumbled upon this gem from when my SIL and I were taking pics on our hike – gotta love self-timer outtakes! 🙂 

7 – And we’re off! Time to get this move underway!
