Phone Photo Dump

I have an embarrassing amount of pictures on my phone that have yet to make it onto the blog. That probably has something to do with the fact that I’ve really been slacking with posting recently… I’m working on that I promise! 😀

Anywhooo – here are some photos that have been floating around my phone for the past few weeks!

My SIL and I made Egg Strata and fruit salad for Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday. The Egg Strata hit the spot and the fruit salad was out of this world – I have reallllly missed California fruit!!!

  Mother’s Day Mimosas were also necessary!! 

I’m really happy with how our little gallery wall (can you call it that if you use picture ledges?) came out. Once I get the dresser decorations squared away I’m planning on doing a more detailed post about how I put it all together. 🙂

Speaking of apartment decorating… I learned the hard way last week that Ikea is not a store you should go to solo! I’m pretty strong but I definitely struggled to get all the items off the shelves, onto the cart and into my car… not to mention up to our 2nd story apartment once I got home! Funny story of the trip: as I was putting the heaviest box into the car my cart started rolling away while the family at the car next to me just watched. Thanks guys, thank you very much!

I saw this ad while I was at Ikea and I can’t wait to go!!! Back when I studied abroad we went on an EFT (educational field trip) to Israel and visited the location where the scrolls were found so to see the actual scrolls in person would be so exciting!

I don’t know how I held off sharing this one for so long – the first weekend we were in Cali Henri took me to After’s Ice Cream. YES – that is ice cream inside of a glazed donut!!! It was really tasty but is going to be a rare treat for sure because it is sooo rich and sweet!  

This one’s from a ways back – but when I said goodbye to Buddy boy he wouldn’t stop smiling! What a cutey patootie!

I think I might have an author addiction – besides these that I found while unpacking our boxes of books I have 4 more on my iPad! But what can I say? When I like something I really like it! 🙂
