October: By The Numbers
Happy Halloween Everyone!!
I’ve never been a huge fan of Halloween but Henri and I are planning on keeping up our streak of “dressing up” to get $3 Boo-ritos at Chipotle. And by dressing up I mean that I will probably go as a marathoner and Henri will be a soccer player – we are soooo creative! haha
Anyways, today being Halloween also means that it is the last day of October. This year is honestly FLYING by – it will be Thanksgiving, and then Christmas, and then 2015 before we know it! But I’m getting ahead of myself… let’s take a look at October before we move on to all the excitement that the holiday season brings!
October 2014: By The Numbers
210.4 miles run
4 race completed! (Chicago Marathon + the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon at Runner’s World Festival)
5 nights spent in hotels
2 new PRs – 3:06:09 at Chicago and by default my 1:27:14 at the RW half was a PR because I’d never run one before
3 first time marathons run by my incredible athletes including 2 Boston Qualifying times!
A million new friends (maybe just a slight exaggeration). It blows my mind how well you get to know people when you just spend a weekend with them! I met so many great ladies at the Runner’s World Festival and I know that we will keep in touch for years to come!
Celebrated 6 years with Henri!and 2 with FINN!
It’s going to be a cold, chilly weekend here. I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend with literally NOTHING on the schedule… for the first time in 3 weekends!
What are you doing tonight for Halloween?
Give me a number to describe something about your October?
Is it cold where you are? The news here has been teasing snow and I just cover my ears and ignore them! ha
