Easy Chili & Cheese Chip Dip Appetizer!
This morning I was craving a good, fast run so I decided to mix it up and do some 400s. Here’s what the workout looked like:
.50 mile warm-up
5x 400m with 400m jogging rest between (81, 83, 77, 79, 73)
.75 mile cool-down
For a total of 3.5 miles @ 7:11 pace!
Today I wanted to share a family favorite appetizer that might just need to be included in your Super Bowl spread this weekend. My family has literally been making this since before I can remember. It is simple, quick to throw together and a major crowd-pleaser –> Chili & Cheese Chip Dip!
All you need to make it is: 8oz cream cheese, a can of chili (I used Trader Joe’s Turkey Chili), a bag of Mexican blend cheese, a red onion and some bell peppers.
In a pie dish spread the cream cheese even on the bottom, top with the entire can of chili, then layer on the bag of cheese. Chop up as many peppers and onions as you want and throw them on top.
Before serving microwave for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly!
Dig in with whatever chips you prefer! YUM!
