CIM Training: Week 15
As I mentioned is last week’s training summary, I started off week 15 of CIM training out of commission due to a burst ovarian cyst. I was a little overly dramatic about it ruining the important week of training that I had on the schedule but luckily the pain subsided by Wednesday and I was able to complete two good workouts into the last half of the week. I obviously didn’t it in as much mileage as I would have liked but I am really happy with how I was able to salvage the week!
Training Summary: 11/6/2017-11/12/2017
Monday: planned rest day
Tuesday: unplanned rest day
Wednesday: 8 miles easy @ 7:41
Thursday: [AM] 8 miles easy @ 7:25 pace [PM] 4 stroller miles @ 8:09 pace
Friday: 10 mile workout – 2 mile warm-up, 3x 2 miles w/ 3 mins rest (goal pace of 5:50//actual paces were 5:49, 5:49, 5:48) 2 mile cool-down
Saturday: 10 miles easy @ 7:44 pace
Sunday: 20 mile long run-workout – 2 mile warm-up, 3x 5 miles @ ~GMP w/ 1 mile easy between (goal pace of 6:18//actual paces were 6:11, 6:12, 6:10), 1 mile cool-down
Total Mileage: 60 miles
