CIM Marathon Training: Week 5
Last week’s training went pretty well, I would have preferred to get outside for both of my workouts but I ended up on the treadmill for both (yes, including the 16 mile long run) because of weather conditions and life stuff. It was 100+ degrees each day last week and since I couldn’t get my workouts in early because I was at practice for work I opted for the treadmill instead of melting/dying in the heat. I was out late on Saturday night for a cross country meet and after going to bed close to midnight there was no way I was waking up early enough to beat the heat, so long run treadmill run it was. I never thought I’d see the day that I would run on the treadmill because it was too hot outside… ha!
